One side features a 2 inch soft & supple latex layer supported by edge to edge, 4 way-flexible-mini-pocketed coils at the core.

 

And if you prefer something less soft, then you flip the mattress to reveal the firm side: a firmer feel, non-latex, sleeping surface that is also supported by the same gentle support, pocketed mini-coils.  

 

After much research, we chose the 10 inch height for this mattress.  It is perfectly sized, balancing comfort, cost, and  flexibility.  Making it flexible enough was important so that it will perform perfectly on an adjustable bed if needed.  Our multi-faceted research concludes that thicker mattresses over 10 inches are unessary weight and cost.
